Job Description

We are Intel's unmanned aerial vehicles UAV team and we need YOU to make our products fly! Formed by a recent acquisition, we are a small but successful startup within Intel and operate in a highly dynamic and largely independent environment. We are looking for a passionate Product Manager Drone Flight Planning to help us build our next generation platforms.


We are looking for an individual that is able to shape the roadmap of our flight planning solutions. The person needs to have a deep understanding of current professional drone markets, their applications, customers and solution providers. We are looking for someone who can create, manage and drive a product roadmap, incorporate customer feedback and prioritize tasks for engineering. The candidate will work closely with Program Management, Customer Support, Marketing and the engineering teams.


Starting from the first product idea, you will be shaping a major element of our application software landscape. You will own and drive the roadmap and ensure that the product is well received on the market. You will be part of one of the most exciting trends in the industry, creating products for diverse and highly sought-after solutions. Since we are able to operate as a small independent unit within Intel, we offer flat hierarchies, fast decision making and great atmosphere combined with the benefits of a competitive compensation.



Our projects are complex. In a highly dynamic environment that includes engineering, production and other related functions such as marketing, sales, and support we need you to manage the product, its launch, and maintenance milestones and ensure it is well received on the market.

We are looking for:

A passionate, self-starting individual with a wide focus and the ability to grasp the big picture. At the same time, we require you to deliver to the highest standards in your respective field.

Ideally, you have:

Minimum 8 years of product management experience in software development projects, specifically drones, photogrammetry or GIS applications.
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering Computer Science, Business Administration with strong technical focus or equivalent
Proven track record of released products
Experience in working with customers
Fluent in English, both written and oral
Ideally good command of German
